For over 60 years, Triumph Actuation Systems has been a leader in the design, manufacture and repair of
complex hydraulic and hydro-mechanical aircraft components and systems. The company’s diverse
product line includes fixed and variable displacement pumps and motors, linear actuators, valves
and numerous other components used on a wide range of commercial and military aircraft. Triumph Actuation Systems’
extensive customer list includes every major airframe manufacturer in North America and Europe
including Boeing and Airbus.
Triumph Actuation Systems began as a small machine shop on Long Island, New York in 1940. During the next six decades,
the company’s capabilities expanded to include the assembly and testing of hydraulic components,
as well as design engineering. In the early 1990s, a second facility was established in Clemmons,
North Carolina to accommodate the company’s growth in commercial aircraft components and aftermarket
support. This expansion was fueled by internal growth and several significant acquisitions of related
product lines. In early 1998, Triumph Actuation Systems joined the Triumph Group.
